Prior to staying at home, I spent 6 years working in the Finance and Banking industries. In 2007 I had my first child, and went back to work shortly after. I missed her first steps, her first word. I felt her early years quickly flying by-and I was missing it all.
When I became pregnant with my second child in 2010, I told myself I was going to stay home and raise my children. So that’s exactly what I did!
With the help of my husband, we managed to pay off all our debt in time for our son’s arrival. By the time I was a stay-at-home mom, we only had our monthly bills to worry about.
I’m not going to lie. It hasn’t always been a walk in the park. But with the right planning and budgeting, we make it work. I have been at home since 2011 and I have never been happier.
